Siam Scandinavian Construction and Business Company Limited, or "SSC&B" was incorporated as a limited company with an initial registered capital of 1 million baht on December 21, 1993, to engage in construction business related to mechanical work and electrical systems.
Subsequently, we realised the need to expand the scope of our business operations. Therefore, SSC&B increased the registered capital to 100 million baht on June 23, 2009, followed by receiving works from the sugar industry sector, such as the construction of a sugar warehouse for export by Kerry Company. Moreover, SSC&B took part in building work and energy construction, such as the construction of a hydroelectric dam in the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)
and the installation of a 500-megawatt pumped-storage hydroelectric power plant at Lamtakong Jolabha Vadhana Power Plant—the development of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, for which we studied and used the technology from Voith Hydro from Germany, our joint venture in this project. In addition, we completed road construction work from the Department of Highways and railway maintenance work from the State Railway of Thailand.
For about 30 years as a construction business, SSC&B will continuously improve in terms of personnel, management, and how to operate to meet the needs of customers with the principles of effective cost management, timeliness, and quality of work in order to ensure that the constructions we complete for both the government and private sectors will satisfy our clients and make a good contribution to society and our country.
